안녕하세요 제 예명은Bii입니다 화교신분으로 17살에 한국을떠나 우연한 기회로 대만에 오게되었고 그때부터 연예기획회사에 들어가 중국어를 배우고 노래도 쓰게되면서 데뷔하게 되었습니다 너무 많은 과정과 스토리가 있지만 이글에 다담을수 없는게아쉽네요 다음에 기회가 된다면 더욱더 저에대한 얘기를 많이 들려드리고싶습니다

Please introduce yourself and share the story of how your music career started!

Hello, my stage name is Bii. I was born into a Chinese community and left Korea at the age of 17. By chance, I came to Taiwan, where I joined an entertainment agency, learned Chinese, and started writing songs. That’s how I made my debut. There are so many stories and experiences that I can’t possibly fit them all into this piece. I hope to have the opportunity to share more about myself with you in the future.

大家好，我的藝名是 Bii。我是華僑身份，17歲時離開韓國，因緣際會來到台灣，從那時開始進入演藝經紀公司，一邊學習中文，一邊創作歌曲，並且順利出道。在這一路上有許多故事和經歷，但無法全都寫在這篇文章中，真的非常可惜。如果有機會，我很想再和大家多聊聊關於我的故事。

"Bii"라는 이름을 여러 페르소나를 지칭한다고 설명하셨는데요. 무슨 뜻인지 설명해 주시겠어요?

예명의 두개의 i i는 자아를 나타내고있으며 여러 장르의 음악을 하고싶고 발라드와 락을 좋아하는 제자신을 표현하고자 이예명을 사용하게 되었습니다 예로 저는AB형 이고 혼혈이며 양손잡인 여러가지 점들도 이예명과 비슷한느낌이들어 더욱 저와 맞다고 생각하게됐어요

You describe the name “Bii” as a reference to your different personas. Could you explain what you mean by that?

The two “i”s in my stage name “Bii” each have their own meanings. One “i” represents myself, symbolizing my inner personality traits [and] my desire to take on various music genres, [like] ballads and rock. The other “i” is connected to my unique characteristics: my AB blood type, my Taiwanese-Korean heritage, and my ambidexterity. These qualities make me feel like the name “Bii” suits me perfectly.

您將“Bii”這個名字描述為您不同的角色的參考。你能解釋一下那句話的意思嗎？

我藝名中的兩個「i」，一個i代表自己，象徵我的內在個性跟特質。就像我想挑戰多種音樂類型，尤其喜歡抒情與搖滾。另外一個i是因為我的血型是 AB 型、台韓混血、左右手並用，這些特點也讓我覺得「Bii」這個名字特別適合我。

데뷔한 지 15년이 되었어요! 그리고 2010년 이후로 음악은 어떻게 발전했나요?

데뷔15년까지 많은 일들이 있었지만 저를 더행복하게 노래부를수 있게해준건 다 팬분들과 저를사랑해주시는 모든분들 덕분인거 같습니다 이건 죽을때까지 변하지 않을거같아요 지금까지 8장의 매앨범을 준비하면서 여러가지들이 변화하고 진화했던거같고 이번앨범엔 저스스로도 참여하는게 더욱 많아지면서 항상 팬분들에게 더좋은 음악을 선물하고싶다는 마음에 더 가까워질수있었다 라고 생각합니다

You debuted 15 years ago! How has your music evolved since 2010?

Over the past 15 years since my debut, I’ve been through a lot. Without a doubt, what keeps me happily singing are the fans and everyone who loves me. While preparing for my eight albums, I feel like I evolved in many ways. For my latest, I was more involved in the creative process. My biggest wish, besides connecting more closely with my fans, is to bring everyone even better music.

你出道十五年了！您認為您職涯長久的關鍵是什麼？自 2010 年以來，您的音樂有 何變化？

我出道至今已有 15 年，在這段時間裡經歷了許多事，讓我能幸福唱歌的最大動力; 是因為所有支持我的粉絲和愛我的人。至今我已經發行了 8 張正規專輯，隨著每張專輯的推出，我感受到自己的音樂在不斷地變化與進化。 這次的新專輯，我參與了更多的創作，最大的心願，除了想能更貼近粉絲，也想為大家帶來更好音樂作品。

跟自己說再見(Farewell to My Youth)은 제가 존경하는 선배님 이시고 동시에 활발히 활동하시는 林宥嘉(Yoga Lin)님이 쓰신곡이구요 “과거의 자신과 안녕”이라는 이문구가 저를 사로잡았고 한편의 시처럼 그가주는 흐릿하면서도 뭔가 아름다운 화면을 상상하며 불렀던거 같아요 여러분들도 좋아해주시길

Please describe your newest single, “Farewell to My Youth.”

The song was written by one of my respected seniors, who is an actively performing artist, Yoga Lin (林宥嘉). The lyric “saying goodbye to your past self” deeply resonated with me. Singing the song felt like painting a blurry yet beautiful picture, much like a poem. I hope you’ll love it as much as I do.

《跟自己說再見》這首歌是由我非常敬重的前輩，也是目前活躍於音樂圈的林宥嘉所創作的。 「與過去的自己說再見」這句歌詞深深吸引了我。在演唱這首歌時，我彷彿像在閱讀一首詩，一邊想像那種模糊而又美麗的畫面，希望大家也會喜歡這首作品。

이번앨범 Bii with you는 경험할수있는 날씨와이상현상 등등을 컨셉으로 잡았구요 컨셉처럼 제 노래가 매일을 살아가는 우리들에게 새로운 경험또는 제노래들이 매일 모든분들과 함께하고싶은 소망을 담아봤습니다 작곡부분에서7곡 정도를 참여했고 말해 라는곡은 한국어 버전도 있습니다

Please describe the themes of your newest EP, Bii WITH YOU.

Bii WITH YOU is centered on concepts like weather and extraordinary phenomena. Through these themes, I hope my songs bring new experiences to those who listen to them and accompany everyone in their daily lives. I participated in the composition of around seven of the songs for this album. One of them, “말해 (Speak),” also has a Korean version.

본명에 성 필이 또 중국어로는Bii라고 발음되기 때문에 諧音(Bii with you=Be with you)도 많기 때문에재미도있고 매앨범마다 그렇게 사용했던거 같아요 앞으로 꼭 써야한다는 그런 조건은 없구요 앨범컨셉에 좀더 부합하는 이름을 쓰도록 노력해야죠

You have released Bii Story, Come Back to Bii, Bii WITH YOU... Do you plan to keep including “Bii” in your future album titles?

My real last name is “Pil,” which sounds similar to “Bii” in Chinese. This wordplay is something I’ve incorporated into every album so far, because it’s fun and meaningful. However, there’s no requirement to keep using it; I want the album titles to fit each concept [well].

你們已經推出了《Bii Story》、《Come Back to Bii》、《Bii WITH YOU》等專輯。您計劃 在未來的專輯名稱中繼續使用“Bii”嗎

다른행성에서온 외계인이죠 저도 이번 뮤직비디오를 찍으면서 외계인은처음으로 연기해보는데 감독님께서 두곡을 듣고 전체 스토리를 생각하신거 같아요 메인두곡으로 아마 외계인의 스토리는 끝난듯 하구요 이야기의결말은 저스스로 생각하기에 열려있는것같습니다 해석에 따라 달라지겠죠 사랑에도 아주 많은 종류의 사랑이있듯이 개인적으론 해피엔딩을 좋아합니다!

I would love to learn about the making of the “Glacier” and “Remains” music videos! Where did the ideas for those videos come from? Will the same characters reappear in future videos? And is there one specific way the story ends, or is it meant to stay up to interpretation?

For this music video shoot, I took on the challenge of playing an alien character for the first time. The director listened to the two main songs and created a story around them. The alien storyline concludes with these two songs, but I think the ending is open to interpretation. Just as there are many types of love, everyone can interpret the story differently. Personally, I prefer happy endings!

在這次音樂錄影帶的拍攝中，我首次挑戰了「外星人」角色。導演在聽了兩首主打歌後構思了整個故事情節。以這兩首主打歌為主，外星人的故事應該算是告一段落。不過故事的結局是開放式的，因為每個人的解讀會有所不同。就像愛情有很多種形式一樣，個人而言我偏愛「Happy Ending」。

두곡모두다 대만에선 처음으로 VP방식으로 촬영한 작품이구요 한국드라마도 이방식을 동원해 많은 작품들을 찍었다 들었습니다 촬영내내 우와 우와 하면서 놀랍고 재밌는경험하며 찍었던거같습니다

Both music videos were the first in Taiwan to be filmed using VP (Virtual Production) technology. I heard that many Korean dramas use this method as well. Throughout the filming, I was amazed and excited. It was such a fun and unique experience.

這兩支 MV 是台灣首次以 VP 技術拍攝的作品，我聽說韓國許多電視劇也使用了這種技術。在整個拍攝過程中，我不斷地驚嘆「哇！」，這是一次既驚喜又有趣的經歷。

왜 몇 년 전에 YouTube에 가입하기로 결정했나요?

YouTube을 개인적으로도 많이 사용하고 많은컨텐츠들을 보기때문에 저도 많은 부분들을 팬분들과 공유해보면 어떨까 하는마음으로 열게되었어요

Why did you decide to finally join YouTube a couple of years ago?

I personally enjoy using YouTube to watch various types of video content. I started my own channel to share glimpses of my life with my fans.

幾年前您為何決定加入 YouTube？

我個人平時也非常喜歡使用 YouTube來看觀看各種不同的視頻內容。 因此，我開設了自己的頻道，與粉絲們分享我的生活點滴。

지금은 2025년인데, 첫 단독 말레이시아 콘서트가 공식적으로 10년 전이네요! 아직도 그날 밤을 잘 기억하시나요? 그날 밤의 어떤 기억이 가장 기억에 남나요?

벌써10년이 지났다니…너무 그리운 밤이죠 너무 아름다웠죠 流行飛過라는 곡에서 음이탈을 겪었던게 PTSD로 남을만큼 아찔했지만 너무 즐거운 콘서트였어요 다시한번 말레이시아 팬분들과 함께할수있음 좋겠습니다

Since it is now 2025, your first solo Malaysia concert was officially ten years ago! Do you still remember that night well? What memories from that night stay with you the most?

I can’t believe it has been 10 years… [It was] a night to remember and a beautiful memory to cherish. During my performance of “Flying Meteor,” I had a voice crack that left me with PTSD. It was such a scary moment. But it was still an incredibly enjoyable concert. I really hope to meet up with my Malaysian fans again.

時光飛逝，轉眼間已經過了 10 年。這是一個令人懷念的夜晚，也是一段美好的回憶。在演唱《流行飛過》時，我經歷了音準失誤，這成了一次令人後怕的 PTSD，但整場演唱會仍然非常愉快。希望能再次與馬來西亞的粉絲們相聚。

음악 산업계에서 누군가가 해준 가장 좋은 조언은 무엇인가요?

15년을 활동하면서 많은 좋은분들을 만났고 많은 조언을 들었지만 몸소 와닿는 조언은 “끝이없다면 시작도 없다” 입니다

What is the best advice someone in the music industry has ever given you?

Over 15 years of performing, I’ve met many wonderful people and received lots of advice. One sentence that touched me the most was, “If there’s no endpoint, then what’s the [point] of starting?”

音樂界人士給過您最好的建議是什麼？

出道 15 年以來，我遇到了許多好人，也聽了許多建議。其中最令我感觸的一句話是：「若沒有終點，那麼開始又有何意義？」

상도 받아보고 아레나도 서봤지만 스스로가 자랑스러운땐 누군가가 제노래를 듣고 부를때 인거같습니다

What are some of the proudest moments of your career so far?

I've received awards and [performed in an] arena, but I think the moment when I feel [the most] proud is when someone hears my song and sings it.

到目前為止，您職業生涯中最自豪的時刻是什麼？

我得過獎，也上過賽場，但我認為最讓我感到自豪的那一刻是有人聽到我的歌並唱出來的時候。

앞으로 무엇을 하실 건가요? 2025년의 목표나 계획은 무엇인가요?

2025년 4월19일에 台北流行音樂中心(Taipei Music Center)에서 콘서트를 할예정이구요 기회가 주어진다면 더많은 곳 더많은 분들 앞에서 노래할수있는것 이 올해 목표입니다

What is next for you? What are your goals or plans for 2025?

I'm planning to have a concert at the Taipei Music Center on April 19, 2025. If given the chance, my goal for this year is to sing in more places and in front of more people.

您下一步打算做什麼？您對 2025 年的目標或計畫是什麼？

我計劃於2025年4月19日在台北音樂中心開演唱會。如果有機會，我今年的目標是在更多的地方、在更多的人面前唱歌。
