The Year in Review, Day 21
It’s the 21st day of a 23-day celebration, revisiting some of 2023’s best podcast episodes and writing! Today’s theme: more band interviews!
“Adios Audio on the Future of K-Rock and Redefining Genres”
“The age limit for taking on challenges has dropped significantly. As a result, a diversity of genres and styles coexist, and a wide fan base is being built. K-rock's heyday is just beginning.”
“Meet Route 1!”
“Our music has a good vibe to enjoy together. We think this composition makes Route 1's music more empathetic, not only [in] happy and exciting moments, but also [in moments when people] have to endure it alone. [It is] music that is exciting but sympathizes [with] tragedy or sadness at the same time. To sum it up in one sentence, [we] want Route 1's music to be good to listen to during the day and at night.”
“Jaurim Celebrate 25 Years Together”
“Music remains my primary passion. There's nothing more enjoyable than creating music and arranging it into a song. There is a pain to it as well, of course. This process is my glass bead game, my Glasperlenspiel, and my inspiration for it comes from everywhere and everything. [‘Glasperlenspiel’ is a reference to The Glass Bead Game, a book by Hermann Hesse]. Every moment I spend scooping up these fragments of inspiration and making them into jewels is a thrill for me.”
