Schedule Updates
In light of the Itaewon tragedy this past weekend, South Korea has entered a week of mourning that ends November 5th. Out of respect for this mourning period, many K-pop releases and events scheduled for this week have been postponed, and 17 Carat K-Pop content will be too.
A LOT of new content is ready to be released and will be after this week’s hiatus, so stay tuned for…
Several episodes breaking down everything about The Star Seekers
The Star Seekers-themed essays that go off of what will be discussed in podcast episodes
A podcast episode and essay with my “Top Twenty Best Releases of October” picks
New exclusive interviews
Some K-pop headline roundups
Deep dives into the meanings of specific new releases, including Dreamcatcher’s and SEULGI’s latest albums
An essay about my interpretation of (G)I-DLE’s I love and new music video
LOTS of new K-pop/J-pop/C-pop/etc. music recommendations
Another “Guess the K-Pop Song” game (try part one here!)
An October episode guide
Even more!
A week without releasing new content is not an easy decision for independent creators like me, but it is the right thing to do. Any help promoting my website, newsletter, and podcast this week is even more appreciated than usual. Every follow, stream, page view, social media share, etc. makes a world of difference; your help boosting show/site visibility helps sustain my work.
In short, I really need your support to afford to take this week off. Please consider becoming a paying subscriber to my writing, and please spread the word about my work if you find value in it.
Please stay informed about this tragedy and its aftermath. My thoughts are with all affected by this tragedy, and I pray those who are injured have speedy recoveries.
