Localhigh Records’ Hip-Hop Artist Hamingu Teams Up with American Rapper Luvabstract on “SELECT”

Rookie hip-hop artist Hamingu has returned with a collaboration! The song “SELECT” came out on all streaming platforms today, May 18, at 12 PM KST. In this emo, hip-hop track, Hamingu talks about his strong will and trusting in himself being a challenge. This is also the message of “Hint of Yellow,” which started an “Open Verse Challenge” on TikTok.

Hamingu caught the attention of Los Angeles’s rising hip-hop producer, THISJUSTIN, who produced “SELECT.” While the two came together to work on the track, they added American artist Luvabstract as a feature. This collaboration targets not only the Korean demographic but the global music market. As part of his efforts to release a song with global success, Hamingu pushed back the release date from May 14 to 18, in order to improve the final quality of “SELECT.”
