For those who have not heard your music before, how would you describe it to them? How would you finish the sentence “JETAIME is ___” or “JETAIME’s music is ___”?
“JETAIME is a storyteller,” [and] “JETAIME’s music is a snapshot of her life.” My music is a mix of pop, R&B, and modern sounds that feels both playful and emotional.
What is the story of how you first decided to pursue a music career?
I’ve always loved music, but BTS played a huge role in inspiring me to pursue it professionally. Watching their performances made me dream of becoming an artist like them and hopefully sharing a stage with them. That dream motivated me to train hard and take my first steps towards a music career.
Did you always have an interest in singing, rapping, and dancing, or did you develop an interest in one of those three before the others?
I fell in love with dancing first. Through dance, I became more interested in singing and performing. I’ve always loved music, so exploring different ways to express myself through it felt very natural.
How did you choose your stage name?
“JETAIME” is my nickname, so choosing it as my stage name felt natural. I wanted to present myself as authentically as possible and show people who I am without any filters.
Why did you decide now is the best time to finally release a non-collaboration?
I felt ready to show people a side of me that they hadn’t seen before. It was definitely exciting, but I was also nervous, because this project truly reflects who I am as a person and as an artist.
Why did “RED WINE” feel like the right choice for the song to debut solo with?
I wanted to show people another side of me, a more grown-up version of myself. “RED WINE” has a mature and confident message that perfectly represents what I’m going through and where I am right now as a person.

“RED WINE”: An R&B Afrobeats song that represents a new chapter, with the message of wanting a long-lasting relationship instead of a playful one.
“No, Thanks”: A fun and empowering song about knowing your worth and being clear about what you want.
“808”: A song that allowed me to experiment with a fresh sound and show a cooler hip-hop version of myself.
What are the biggest lessons you learned during your trainee days?
Discipline and consistency are just as important as talent. I also learned that everyone’s journey is different, so comparing yourself to others only slows you down.
Has AR3NA disbanded, or is it just on a long hiatus?
AR3NA isn’t actively promoting at the moment, but the group will always be an important part of my journey and growth as an artist.
What are your short-term and long-term career goals?
Short-term: release more music, perform more often, build a stronger fan base, and always work hard and improve myself. Long-term: grow into a versatile artist who can inspire more people through music, performances, and possibly acting, and continue sharing my artistry with audiences around the world.
Lastly, is there anything else you want to say about yourself or your music?
I just want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout my journey. Every song I release is a reflection of a different chapter of my life, and I hope listeners can find something they relate to in my music. I’m excited to continue growing, trying new things, and sharing more of myself through future projects.
