We are BeautyBox. Dimpled leader Gahyun, SARA with refreshing charms, pretty ANH, “looks innocent,” easygoing Rina, the sound of BeautyBox, SORI, and the youngest, JERIN.

For those who have never heard your music before, how would you describe it to them? How would you finish the sentence “BeautyBox is ___”?

BeautyBox is an energy drink for fans.

What makes BeautyBox different from other girl groups?

Gahyun: There are more foreign members than Korean members and the first Vietnamese member [to be in a K-pop group].

Is there a certain person that inspired each of you to become a famous musician?

Gahyun: IU.

Rina: TWICE’s Sana and Momo.

SARA: TWICE'S Sana. 

SORI: Taeyeon of Girls' Generation.

ANH: BLACKPINK's Jennie.

JERIN: BLACKPINK's Lisa.

Can you share a “TMI” story from working on your debut mini-album or from filming the “Rat a Tat” music video?

Gahyun: I think the scene I filmed on the beach is the most memorable.

Rina: I remember exploding fireworks in the party room. 

ANH: Me too!

SORI: I keep thinking of [the] kimbap that I couldn't eat at all during the shoot. JERIN really enjoyed the food. 

SARA: The sunset I saw when I was filming at the sea was pretty. I thought of Okinawa a lot.

JERIN: I ate a lot of gimbap.

What is your debut single, “Rat a Tat,” about?

Gahyun: For our first album, called Beyond of BB, we have two songs inside. “Rat a Tat” is the main song in this album. Composed by J-lin and B-rock, it has a cute meaning of  "Please don't be unfamiliar with our new style.”

JERIN: The second song’s English name is “Take My Heart?!” This song was arranged by Shim Jea Hyun, with lyrics by our CEO, Yeon Jun Burm. Also, [for] the start of the song, I [had to] write some parts by myself. Please give [the song] a lot of love. 

Do you plan to post more vlogs and other content on YouTube in the future, or was vlogging just a way to meet fans leading up to your debut?

SORI:  Our vlogs will continue to show you many of BeautyBox’s unique charms.

What has surprised you so far about being in an idol group? Is it different from what you had expected?

SARA: It's been three months since we debuted. I haven't been able to broadcast and perform a lot because of the pandemic, so I haven't felt [the impact] yet.

ANH: We plan to perform on overseas tours and broadcast a lot with our new album.

JERIN: I'll answer the second question after more activities.

How soon do you plan to make your next comeback, and what kinds of concepts do you want to try in future comebacks?

Rina: As far as I know, we will make a comeback after completing our overseas schedule in 2022. We're going to make a comeback with an incredible new song, so please keep your eyes on us.

What can fans expect from your upcoming show, "BEAUTYBOX Coming to X-MAS <With 'WIBBON>"?

Gahyun: It's my first time preparing for a YouTube live performance. At the request of the fans, I think we will be able to sing a lot of songs for you.

SORI: We hope many people have a fun Christmas together.

Our WIBBON, see you at the Christmas live concert. You promise, right?
