From personality traits to concerts, the group talks about what makes them “LOUD & PROUD” to be AMPERS&ONE!

KAMDEN: Hello, I’m AMPERS&ONE’s reliable leader, KAMDEN! I’m in charge of rap, dance, and pretty eyes!
BRIAN: Hi, I’m BRIAN. I’m the soft voice of our team, and I also raise our team’s average height!
JIHO: Hello, I’m JIHO, AMPERS&ONE’s indispensable all-rounder!
SIYUN: Hi, I’m SIYUN, the main vocalist of AMPERS&ONE!
KYRELL: Hi, I’m KYRELL from AMPERS&ONE! I’m in charge of cuteness and cleaning!
MACKIAH: Hello, this is MACKIAH! I’m the energizer of AMPERS&ONE!
SEUNGMO: Hi, I’m SEUNGMO, the guardian of laughter in AMPERS&ONE!
Please describe LOUD & PROUD and the impression you hope it has on listeners!
KAMDEN: As the title suggests, this album carries the message of being prouder and more confident in ourselves no matter what comes our way! We wanted to show AMPERS&ONE’s bold and fearless side.
BRIAN: I hope ANDEAR (our fans) gain strength and confidence when listening to our music! The lyrics and instrumentals are powerful, so you can’t help but feel empowered!
Since this era is all about being “LOUD & PROUD,” what makes you feel your proudest?
JIHO: I tried a lot of new challenges with my visuals this time, and seeing that ANDEAR liked [them] made me feel really proud.
Which song on LOUD & PROUD is your personal favorite, and why?
SIYUN: My favorite is “I’m Down”! I love it so much [because the] song’s vibe, the rap, and the vocals make me imagine how cool it will look when we perform it on stage!
Have you learned from or gotten advice from any FNC Entertainment seniors, either while working on LOUD & PROUD or on previous releases?
KAMDEN: While working on this album, I asked P1Harmony’s INTAK sunbaenim for advice on how to make my gestures look cooler. And KEEHO sunbaenim generously gave me tips on concepts, visuals, and what would suit me best.
You went on your first U.S. tour earlier this year! How was it, and what specific memories stand out to you the most?
KYRELL: The U.S. tour was such a wonderful experience! I was so happy to finally meet our American ANDEAR, and I gained a lot of strength from them. We also learned so much on tour. We visited 19 cities, and we gave each other feedback [and] improved after [each show]. One memory that really stands out is the first city, Miami. More people showed up than we expected, and [the] moment when we went up to perform our first song, “On And On,” really stayed with me.
What is one goal or dream you have already accomplished and one goal or dream you are still working towards?
SEUNGMO: Our constant goal is for each member to come together and make our dreams into reality. Going forward, we want to make AMPERS&ONE’s name more widely known, establish our unique color, and engrave the image of AMPERS&ONE in the world.
Lastly, do you have a message for your fans or anything else you want to say about your new music?
MACKIAH: For this album, KAMDEN hyung and I participated in writing lyrics for every track. We both researched how to make our parts [of] the songs more fun, and I personally think it’s even more enjoyable if you pay attention to the meanings of the lyrics!
JIHO: This album has songs with completely different vibes compared to our past releases. We want to show you that we can take on different kinds of music and do them well, so please look forward to both the album and our performances. Since these songs are too good to only be heard through your ears, we’ll work hard to bring them to the stage soon, so ANDEAR, please wait just a little longer!
